Welcome to Playful Programming’s first bootcamp!

We are excited to propose a free 12-week Web Development Bootcamp, beginning in January 2026. Our mission is to empower adult learners with the fundamentals of modern frontend web development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React. The course is designed to provide both technical knowledge and hands-on practice, ensuring participants can confidently apply their skills beyond the classroom.

When?

Our bootcamp will be held in January 2026.

It’s a 12-week bootcamp, 2 days a week, Tuesday / Thursday. 1 hour each, 6-7 PM PST

This means you’ll have plenty of time to prepare.

Where?

Our bootcamp will be both in-person and online.

Due to the limited slots, if you can’t make it physically, we’ll provide livestreams for you to catch up on what we’re doing!

    • Build a simple webpage

  2. Module 2: CSS

    1 week
    • Introduction to CSS
    • Colors, fonts and spacing
    • Layout techniques with CSS
    • Build a styled webpage

  3. Module 3: JavaScript

    3 weeks
    • Introduction to JavaScript
    • Variables and data types
    • Functions
    • Working with the DOM and adding interactivity to web pages

  4. Module 4: React

    7 weeks
    • Introduction to Components
    • Props and State
    • Side Effects
    • Error Handling
